About

My family moved around a lot during my early childhood years. Dad always had a curiosity about what might be around the next corner, or over the next hill, or the other side of town. That curiosity stuck with me and informs my worldview. Everyone and every place has a story, and a single image might spark the imagination of the viewer in so many ways. From the simple, where is it, to what is happening inside the frame. I love those journeys. Each photograph is a moment in time that is unique; the gorgeous light bathing a hillside, a sitting portrait that captures the uniqueness and universality of the person on the other side of the lens, the side of a wall papered with posters or splattered with paint, the exquisite beauty of light and shadow. There is so much to see and sometimes we just need a closer look, a time to reflect, to recapture those fleeting seconds and hold them dear.
